Christmas Donations

Corby teams donate goodies to local good causes

The Lakeside Healthcare at Corby teams donated Christmas goodies to local organisations including the Pen Green Centre for Children, the Rough Sleepers Team and a local foodbank.

Staff from across the Cottingham Road, Forest Gate and Brigstock surgeries, plus members of the Corby-based Central Team donated gifts or food to the local good causes.

It is the second year running that gift-wrapped hampers were donated to the Pen Green Centre in a project co-ordinated by the Safeguarding Team, based at Forest Gate surgery.

Following Cottingham Road surgery's ongoing work with those vulnerable to homelessness, staff wanted to donate gift-wrapped presents, labelled for men, women or children in the town, to the Rough Sleepers Team at North Northants Council for distribution in time for Christmas. Finally, Lakeside's Central Support team donated food items, toiletries and essentials to Corby's Foodbank.

Wishing everyone in our local communities a happy festive season from all at Lakeside.
