Dr Dolan's marathon success
Huge congratulations to Bourne GP Dr Grace Dolan who successfully completed the London Marathon, raising more than £1,600 for a breast cancer charity.
Dr Dolan had applied for the ballot for years before gaining her place and she went from the Couch to 5k programme to running the full marathon in just a year with lots of training in between. She supported the charity Breast Cancer Now.

She said: It went well and was a great day. The support and atmosphere was incredible and it was very humbling to run alongside so many people fundraising for amazing charities. I ran it in 4:39:33 and have so far raised £1,660 for the charity, which is close to my heart as my amazing and vibrant mother-in-law passed away from the disease and several other family members and friends have also suffered from breast cancer, which will affect 1 in 7 women in the UK.'
