He has fond memories of the practice and colleagues including Dr Baxter, Dr Murphy and Practice Manager Sarah Parren who are still at St Neots after decades of service.
Dr Mountis said: 'I qualified as a GP in 2011 and have been working at various practices mainly as a locum. When I saw this opportunity I thought it was a good idea because St Neots is where I started. I wanted to be a Partner since day one but, as there are a lot of additional responsibilities it is difficult to do with a young family so I waited until the time was right.
'I have fond memories of working at Cedar House although it wasn't part of Lakeside then. I like being part of a larger organisation which has support that smaller practices don't have, such as the People Team and Safeguarding team. I am really looking forward to connecting with patients and colleagues old and new and continuing my areas of interest around dermatology, cryotherapy and minor operations.'
