Welcome to Dr Romek Wiles who has joined the Stamford team. He says it has '100% been the right move' and joined as he wanted to work at a larger practice with more opportunities for professional development.  

Dr Wiles has been a GP for about ten years, working in the Boston and Spalding areas. His previous practice had a patient population of 5,500 and so working at Stamford offers the opportunity of helping a larger and wider patient demographic.  

Dr Wiles said: 'I came here for more opportunity and the potential career progression that joining a larger practice represents. It is about being in a practice connected with others where you are all learning from each other and there is a greater use of technology and innovation. I feel there is a lot of opportunity here to grow and develop, individually and also when thinking about where Primary Care may be in ten years' time. It is about using technology in interesting ways. It has 100% been the right move for me and am really enjoying getting to know my colleagues and patients.'
