More than ever attend latest HOST event for rough sleepers

The latest in a series of health and wellbeing events for rough sleepers has been the best attended so far.

It was the third Healthy Outreach Support Team (HOST) event to be held at Lakeside's Cottingham Road Surgery and nearly 20 people who are sleeping rough or vulnerable to homelessness went along, supported by rough sleepers' teams from local councils.

Agencies including S2S (Substance to Solution), Citizens Advice and the Department for Work and Pensions were on hand to give advice. The HOST events are intended as a 'one-stop' shop involving multiple agencies, including Lakeside staff.
