Stamford staff attend Covid Recognition conference
Staff from Lakeside Healthcare at Stamford were delighted to attend a 'Recognition and Reflection' conference which acknowledged the contribution made by healthcare professionals throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
Heather Lilley , the Reception Team Lead, was one seven staff representing the practice at the event at Lincolnshire Showground. She said: 'The evening consisted of a lovely meal, presentations and entertainment. Around 150 people attended and there were lots of thank you messages from various people and groups via a large screen.
'The keynote speaker was Professor Jonathan Van Tam who presented slides, saying the memorable phrase "next slide please!" It was a lovely evening and I was pleased that colleagues, including some of the Reception team who played a big part of delivering the COVID vaccination clinics at St Mary's, were able to attend and receive the thanks they were due.'
